CRGHA employs the use of “Room Moms” (in-room volunteers) to ensure players have a safe and comfortable environment to prepare for games in. Some of the things they are responsible for include:
The home team is responsible for operating the time clock and scoreboard for games. The time keeping task is the responsibility of the team therefore it is recommended that the task is rotated among parents. It is recommended that parents new to this task learn from parents more familiar with it. Please speak to your team’s manager if you have questions about timekeeping.
One parent volunteer from each team will be asked to liaise with our VP of Business Operations and provide updates on game scores and team activities. Please speak to your team’s manager or send an email to our VP of Business Operations if you are interested in this position.
